Main Stage
Our full-production setup of floor-shaking sound, vibrant lighting, and visual effects transforms our main stage into your own mini-festival. Get ready to rave and dance the night away to the best beats our DJs have to offer!
Pool Party
Looking for a more laid-back way to spend your evening? Every night for four hours, we’ve got the pool all to ourselves! Whether you take the plunge into the Infinity Pool, have a soak in one of the jacuzzis, or just want to relax with friends old and new by the fire under the brisk Reno sky, our DJs have you covered with chill vibes that will keep you in the rhythm of the nights.
Dance ‘Til Dawn
Night owls rejoice! Starting at 2AM on Thursday morning, our DJs will keep the party going ‘til the Sun comes up! If you’re a true party animal, this is the place for you. The music doesn’t stop until 7AM!

- Free attendee-level registration for BLFC 2026
- Early access to our hotel room block for BLFC 2026
Audition Tips
We consider all DJ slots at BLFC to be “prime” slots. We do not have “headliners.” The main goal of our dances is to create an amazing experience that caters to as many of our attendees as possible across all three of our stages.
Flow
How is the overall flow of your mix? Is the energy “all gas, no brakes” throughout, or does it have dynamics to let the audience breathe and keep up? Do you tell a story? Do you change it up with genre-bending? Is your mix from a live show so we can see how you react to a crowd’s energy and handle mixing in the moment? Beat-matching and transition style are important too, but how you make all of your track selections work together can make or break your command of the crowd.
Availability
Our dances run nightly from Monday to Thursday. While everyone may want to play on Tuesday or Wednesday night, there are only so many hours we have to dance. Your chances to land a slot are better if you have more days marked as available to play. For example, if you marked only Wednesday as your availability, you’d be limiting yourself to being considered for only a quarter of the total available slots we have available.
Genres
The genre(s) you choose to play will determine where you may fit into our DJ lineup. We strive for our dances to represent a good mix of genres while also ensuring that we meet the expectations of the organizers and our attendees. The selection committee will evaluate your application based on the genres showcased in the demo you submit. If you are selected and decide to play a different genre than what you submitted without approval from the DJ Lead, that may affect your eligibility to play for BLFC in the future.
Sound Quality
Is your music 320kbps or higher? Lower bitrates tend to sound very poor on larger sound systems. Audio rips from YouTube or illegal downloads are often of lesser quality, and we will be able to tell the difference. Only use high-quality files or recordings in your mixes.
